More and more people believe that too much homework will prevent children from growing in an all-round way. As a student, my opinion on this problem is as follows.
A proper amount of homework is always necessary for students to understand and grasp what is learned in school. It helps us to learn a lot of things after class and form good habits of study. However, too much homework is meaningless and sometimes even harmful to students because we often to stay up late at night in order to finish homework. As a result, homework has become a burden to students. And we even can’t spare any time to develop our own hobbies, such as reading after-class books, playing basketball, collecting stamps and so on.
Therefore, I suggest that teachers should improve the quality of homework and assign students a right amount of homework so that students can raise the efficiency of study by avoiding doing similar exercises again and again.

Nowadays, more and more students like to use Wechat to communicate with his teachers afterschool. I think the advantages of it far outweigh the disadvantages.

Using Wechat creates such a relaxing atmosphere between teachers and students that students may feel more comfortable to express their opinions. As a result, the gap between teachers and students is narrowed and teachers have a better understanding of his students’ thoughts. Besides, when students have difficulty in their study, they may ask teachers for help timely, which undoubtedly is beneficial to their academic performances.
However, I have to admit that using Wechat may take up some students’ time and energy, which may distract students’ attention. But I believe as long as students can discipline themselves and use it in a proper way, Wechat, as a modern tool, will provide great help for us.

This summer, I got a chance to be a volunteer at Nanjing the second Summer Olympic Games.

Despite hot weather and physical exhaustion, I still found the volunteer work rewarding. At the sight of visitors coming and going with satisfied and understanding smiles on their faces, I felt it was really a great time for me as I could do something helpful to others. Voluntary work won’t bring you any material benefits but the experience and happiness you will never forget.
