如何写英文通知？
通知是上级对下级、组织对成员或平行单位之间部署工作、传达事情或召开会议等所使用的应用文。通知的写法有两种，一种是以布告形式贴出，把事情通知有关人员，如学生、观众等，通常不用称呼；另一种是以书信的形式，发给有关人员，此种通知写作形式同普通书信，只要写明通知的具体内容即可。通知要求言简意赅、措辞得当、时间及时。
例一：布告形式的通知。
通常此类通知上方正中写Notice或NOTICE（通知），发出通知的单位的具体名称可放在正文前，也可放在正文后，右下角处，发出通知的日期写在左下角处。例如：
NOTICE
All professors and associate professors are requested to meet in the college conference room on Saturday, August 18, at 2:00 p. m. to discuss questions concerning international academic exchanges.
通知
本星期六（8月18日）下午二时，全体教授和副教授在学院会议室开会，讨论国际学术交流问题，请准时出席。
例二：书信形式的通知。
Dear Examinee:
As you know, due to unfortunate circumstances, ETS was forced to cancel the scores of the October 1992 TOEFL administration in the People's Republic of China. At that time, you were notified that you would be able to take another TOEFL without charge up through the October 1993 administration. You should be aware that the TOEFL program has a long standing policy of not refunding test fees when administrations are cancelled.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause to you.

英语作文通知格式
英语作文通知的格式很简单，称呼即是需要通知的人。内容不需要太华丽，只要把通知的内容写清就可以，注意条理清晰。最后你的姓名可写可不写。
举个例子：
假设你们年级即将要军训，作为学生代表，请你根据以下要点，用英语写一篇口头通知。
1. 时间：8月15日至25日早上7:30 ―11:30，下午2:30 ―5:30;
2. 地点：学校操场;
3. 注意事项：按时集合;不得旷训或迟到，有事有病需请假;穿军装、结实的运动鞋;自备水杯;认真训练，接受考核。
注意：1. 词数: 100左右;
2. 可适当增加细节，使行文连贯。
参考词汇：军训 military training; 军装 military uniform; 教官 drillmaster.
Boys and girls;
Attention, please! I have an announcement to make.
Our military training will last 11 days from Aug. 15th to Aug. 25th. It will take place in the school playground. The training time is from 7:30 to 11:30 in the morning and 2:30 to 5:30 in the afternoon. Everyone must attend the military training on time. Nobody is allowed to be absent from the training or be late for it. Ask the drillmaster for leave if necessary. Furthermore, we must be in military uniforms, wear strong sports shoes and bring our own cups. Finally, I have to stre that everyone should work hard during the training so that we will perform perfectly in the final test!

The Student Union is going to organize a music week. It is in the first week of May. The activities include singing pop songs, playing classical and folk music, and a musical competition. If you want to play classical and folk music, please bring musical instruments with you. No instruments are supplied. In the musical competition you will be asked to listen to part of a song or a piece of music and then tell where it is from. If you are interested in the activities and want to take part in any of them, please come to the Student Union to sign up before April 20th. The place for the activities will be announced later.
