Teaching Objectives
Teaching objective is the beginning and aim of teaching activities. According to
the overall goal of the English elementary course--- improve students' synthetic ability
of language application, which should be based on the development of students‟

one of the most important tense that students should master, the status and function of

Point Ⅰ: The analysis of Unit 8.
In this unit, the main topic is about school trip, the target
language is using the past tense to express the activities in the past. Unit 8 is a revision of the past tense. We learned the past tense in Unit 5 and Unit 10 last term. Srudents learned a little about the past tense, but there are still something difficult for them to use it freely. And between the affirmative and negative statements.
There ate some training about the simple present tense and
the continuous tense in Units 1-7, so ,as a basical tense in
English learning, it’s necessary for students to go on studying the past tense.
In the first period, the teaching key points are the
vocabulary and target language. For example,
Vocabulary: aquarium, souvenir, seal and so on.

In this unit, the main topic is about school trip, the target
language is using the past tense to express the activities in the past. Unit 8 is a revision of the past tense. We learned the past tense in Unit 5 and Unit 10 last term. Srudents learned a little about the past tense, but there are still something difficult for them to use it freely. And between the affirmative and negative statements.

the continuous tense in Units 1-7, so ,as a basical tense in
