When you move to a new country, something is unfamiliar: weather, language, food, dress, values, and communication—basically, everything you‟re used to no longer exists. This is culture shock —the impact(influence or effect) you may feel when you enter a culture different from one to which you are accustomed.
Like any form of shock, there is a definite reaction. You will have many problems in your life. For example, the stores are opened and closed at hours that you could never predict and you can‟t fully understand local people ‟s language when you communicate with them. All these will probably give you a sense of homesickness.
You don ‟t feel the negative sides of culture shock at the beginning. You feel excited since everything around you is new. This period is really like a honeymoon. Next, you roll into the Distress Stage, and then the Re- integration Stage when you start to realize that it‟s not easy to integrate into the local culture and you often feel upset. But not until you really accept the cultural differences and do as the Romans do, do you feel accepted in the Autonomy Stage. Finally you feel at home again after some time of living and integration, which is the last stage.
Of course, there are several things you can do to help yourself through the stages of culture shock. Trying out for a sports team, attending a local church or taking a language class will help you, anyway, understanding culture shock will help you identify it more easily and overcome it finally.

C. Culture shock can only bring negative effect to you.
D. You can only be accepted in a new culture when you have no culture shock.

Can exercise bring benefit to women? Yes. But not always. Experts suggest that exercise, especially high-impact(高强度) exercise may lead to reduced iron in the blood of women. “We found that women who were normally inactive and then started a program of exercise showed evidence of iron loss,” says Roseanne M. Lyle, associate professor at Purdue.

In the third and final stage, people often feel weak, tired, and out of breath, and exercise performance is severely influenced. “People think that if they‟re not at the third stage, nothing is wrong, but that‟s not true,” says John L. Beard, who helped design the Purdue study. “You ‟re not in stage 3 until your iron reserves
go to zero, and if you wait until that point, you‟re in trouble.”
If iron levels are low, talk with a doctor to see if the deficiency should be corrected by changing your diet or by taking supplements. In general, it‟more iron- rich foods to the diet, because iron supplements can have serious shortcomings. The best sources of iron, and the only sources of the form of iron most easily absorbed by the body, are meat chicken, and fish.
