May I have your attention, please? Mr. Chaplin can’t be here because he has gone to America for a teacher s’ training course. He asked me to tell you something about today’s English exam. The exam starts at 9 o’clock this morning. It lasts for 2 hours. It’s an important exam. Before you answer the questions, relax yourselves. You have to read the questions carefully before answering them. Don’t forget to write the answers clearly. If there is a difficult question, don’t worry. Go on to the next one and come back to it if you have time. Try not to leave questions unanswered when you finish the test. Sometimes a guess may be helpful. Mr. Chaplin and I wish you good results.
