A day to remember /an unforgettable day(你一生中一个无法忘怀的日子) September the 10 th is a day to remember, Because it‘s a day to thank those who care us ,teach us, and the most important , educate us to be useful to the society.
I stillremember it clearly when I was denied the opportunity to participate in the writing contest, my heart sank. The frustration and sadness almost overwhelmed me as I felt I was discarded and I thought for sure I would never pick up my pen to write. At that time, my teacher gave me power and energy to regain my confidence. Immediate help and advice on writing were also offered,which made me realize my weakness and know how to improve. Through the encouragement, I soon picked up my pen . And also I learned to enjoy writing instead of focusing on prize.
Wonderful Sunday(你度过的快乐一天)
Last Sunday, I got up late a bit than the usral time because it‘s the weekend. I called my friend Jack andinvited him to play with me in a park together. About ten o‘clock, we got to the park. The park is full of people already due to the sunshine. Some elderly people were doing exercises. Some young people were reading the books on the green grass under the tree. In the distance, and some boys and girls are playing the boats in the lake. They looked so happy. Jack and I played the badminton on the green grass under the sunshine. We had a wonderful time on that day.

The Book I like best is ―Three Days to See‖ written by Helen Keller, and American author, political activist and lecture. I like the book partly because of the author –the courangeous and hard –working woman.She was the first deaf and bling person to earn a Bachelor of Artsdegree.I like the book also because it offers us a different view on life—―to live each day as if we should die tomorrow‖.It tells us to value and cherish what we have today, to appreciate the beauty of nature, to feel grateful to the warmth you‘re given by friends and family, etc.
Television(看电视的好处和坏处)
Television has its good as well as bad sides. It makes us informed of daily news, lets us knlw the outside world, provides lessons for learners, and it has broutht joy and interest into people‘s lives.
Unfortunately, some television programs have been extremely harmful to the young. Violent movies are shown on TV programs. Children regard the murders as heroes or models, so they imitate. Therefor there happened many murders or shooting cases in American campuses. What a big harm . So young people should learn to get ride of the bad influences of TV and learn to make use of the advantages that TV brings us.

I like many different linds of foods. But egg is my favorite. Egg contains a lot of essential nutrients needed by the human body, for example protein, and is a very good source of energy. In the second place, egg is the basic ingredient to many dishes, with which you can make different food and dishes, like cakes, omelets and French toast. In addition to those mentioned above, eggs are easy to get. You can easily find eggs at any supermarket,l and they are sold for a very cheap price too.

Just as lots of teenagers take to pop music, I love basketball. It‘s part of my life.
I began to play basketball in my childhood. I still remember the good old days when I played with my classmates after school. Later on , as I grew up, almost everything changed, but this sport—playing basketball remained and my love of it grew even stronger.
I love this sport because it brings joys and health to my life. When I got tired from office work, I went to the sports ground and felt refreshed. If there were worries and cares from daily life, I went to the sports ground. There everything went away except basketball. It is basketball that keeps me in good shape and mood.

Nowadays, as the development of the society, people attach important to the form of entertainment much more than ever. Then entertainment plays an more and more important part in people ‗s daily life. According that, the forms of entertainment become rich and colorful rather than monotone. Such as singing, dancing, playing basketball, playing computer games, climbing mountains and so on.
It‘s found that, take some entertainments after busy working can make one relax. It will do a good job for peoples‘ health. What‘s more, if you have it with your friends or colleagues then it can strong your friendship.
Though there‘re so many forms, I like mountaineering most. Because on the one hand, it requires walk for a long time, it‘s good chance to test my patience and force myself to do excise. On the other hand, I can have a good view on the way .Besides, climbing always makes up of several persons and I can have a good chance to chat with others. The last but not the least is that it always makes me feel proud as I touch the top of the mountain.

My grandparents are very special to me. They have worked hard all their lives and sacrificed a lot for my family. Not only that, but they are also special friends to me. They are easier to talk to than my parents and the are very kind to me .For example, my grandmother makes me delicious things to eat and my grandfather often gakes me fishing.
In addition, they are the leaders of my family. They are full of wisdom and know the stories of our ancestors. They are the ones that hold our family together. As a result, I owe them a great deal, but I don‘t know how to repay them. All I can do is cherish them and never take them for granted.

I love my parents .They gave me life and they bring me up. In all these years, they have taught me a lot.

Have you heard of Oxfam Trailwalker? Oxfam Trailwalker has been one of the biggest fund-raising events in Hong Kong since 1981. It help the poor people in Hong Kong and other parts of Asia and Africa. Last week, my brother finished walking a 100-kilometer trail within 48 hours with his friends .On the way /During the event , they helped and support each other. Why? Because only the team‘s finishing time will be recorded. The
supportteam brought them food and dry clothes. It‘s an excellent chance to learn team spirit. Why not help people in need? When I‘m 18 years old, I‘ll also join Oxfam Trailwalker. Hope to hear from you soon!

Our school will organize everyone in our class to visit the Science Museum next week(April 20, Friday).We will get together in front of the school gate at eight o‘clock tomorrow morning then walked to the museum together. When visiting the museum, everyone please listen and watch carefully, and write down any interesting things. So please do not forget bring pen and notebooks. Making loud noises or taking photos are forbidden in the museum. Each one must hand in a visit report on next Monday after visiting museum. Thank you for your attention.
Which means of Transportation Do You Prefer?(喜欢的城市交通方式) In a modern city, there are many means of transportation, such as subway, taxi, bus and so on. But my favorite means of transportation is by bike.
First, riding a bike is good for keeping healthy. I spend one hour riding a bike to my office on my working day ,and I think it is a good form of physical exercise. Secondly, it is money-saving. Recently , the private car drivers always complain the price of gas is higher and higher, but if you ride a bike, it will cost you nothing. Thirdly it is beneficial for protecting the environment, so it is a ―great‖ form of transportation.
Therefore, although is has some disadvantages, I like riding a bike best.
