单元教学活动 1 Listen, match, read and answer

上课时,教师首先问学生的英语名字叫什么:“What’s your English name? ”教师边问边说:“It’s a nice name. please write your English name on the blackboard.”接着教师让学生说完自己的名字后将自己的英语名字写在黑板上。

a) 问了几个同学之后,教师再先后找三个同学,每个同学同时问两行的同学,然后依次把

自己的英语名字写在黑板上。名字写好之后,教师带着大家复习一下名字,并拿出新的英语名字卡片,让大家熟悉,如碰巧有一样的则放在已有的名字旁边,看有多少相同的名字。

b) 复习名字后,教师让学生听课文的对话录音,同时将相应的名字与图中的某个学生连接

起来。听两遍录音后,教师与学生一起核对信息。

Today is Saturday. Many children are in a market which is only for children. There are all kinds of things for children to buy, such as: pet animals, balloons, DVDs and CDs, books, magazines and newspaper, toys, fruits, flowers, drinks, food and so on.

Boy: Look. Mary is talking to William.

Girl: Which one is Mary?

Boy: Can’t you see her? She’s holding a letter in her hand and she is talking to William. Girl: Who is William?

Boy: William is holding some beautiful flowers. He is walking towards Mary.

Girl: I see. Can you see Daisy?

Boy: Where is she?

Girl: She’s behind Jane. She’s holding two ice creams.

Boy: Why is she eating two ice creams?

Girl: No, the other ice creams is for Emma who is sitting on a chair, listening to music.

Boy: I see. Oh, look, Jim and Bill are very happy now.

Girl: Where are they? I can’t find them.

Boy: They are on the ground, playing with a toy train.

Girl: Yes, now I can see them. But which one is Jim?

Boy: Jim is in a green T-shirt and Bill is in a yellow T-shirt.

Girl: Right, Sue and Betty are also playing, too.

Boy: What are they playing with?

Girl: Sue is playing with a dog, but Betty is skipping a rope.

Boy: I’m sure they are having a great time.

Girl: Who is the boy holding a small turtle?

Boy: that’s Ben. He’s just bought the turtle from the pet shop.

Girl: I’m sure Ben loves pet animals

Boy: That’s right.

Girl: Does Paul love pet animals, too?

Boy: No, Paul love reading books.

Girl: Where is he?

Boy: He’s standing in front of the book shop. He is reading a book now.

Girl: Do you think he is going to buy a book?

Boy: Sure. He always buys several books. He loves reading.

Girl: Sam loves reading, too. But he loves reading magazine and newspaper. He is now buying a magazine. Can you see him?

Boy: Yes. Ann and Katy are buying things, too.

Girl: Which is Ann and which is Katy?

Boy: Ann is going to buy some fruits. Now she is standing in front of many kinds of fruits. And Katy is buying some drinks.

Girl: Who are the girls talking under the big umbrella?

Boy: They are Jane and Jill. Jane is drinking orange juice and Jill is eating ice cream.

Girl: They are all having a lot of fun in the children’s market,

Boy: I’m sure they are.

单元教学活动 2 Read and match.

第二部分是问答练习。教师先让学生自己根据左边一栏的问题在右边一栏中找出答案并连线。然后,教师拿出事先写好的问句和答语,并让学生将答语配好问题贴在黑板上。学生也可以因此进行核对工作。最后,教师让学生两人一组练习并进行相互问答。

第三部分是练习学生看图提问的能力。学生看到某张图后应该就该图进行提问,比如: 第一张图是两只老虎。学生可以问:“Do tigers eat chickens?”也可以问:“What do tigers eat?” 第二张图是动物园。学生可以问以下问题:“Where do pandas stay? Where is the zoo? Does the zoo in Beijing have pandas? Are there any pandas in Beijing zoo?”

第三张图是男孩打棒球。学生可以问:“How old is the boy who is playing baseball?”“What is the age of the boy?”

第四张图是所房子。学生可以问:“What is the house like?”“Is the house big, new and clean?” 第五张图是猫吃东西。学生可以问:“What do cats like to eat?”“What does this cat like to eat? What is the cat eating?”

第六张图是个小兔子。学生可以这样问:“What has bunny got in her hand?”“What does the bunny like to eat?”“Do bunnies like to eat carrots?”

第七张图是上学路上。学生可以这样问:“How do you go to school?”“Do you go to school by bike? ”“How do you get to school?”

第八张图是个包。学生可以这样问:“Whose bag is this?”“Is this Jane’s bag?”“Does Jane have a green bag?”

第九张图是个小女孩。学生可以这样问:“What has this little girl got in her hand?”“What’s in

her hand?”

教师同样让学生相互之间做问答,最后再让学生在全班的范围内巩固一遍问题和答语。

单元教学活动4 Listen, write, sing and answer

第四部分的练习是听歌曲,写歌词,最后再回答问题。教师首先让大家听一两遍录音,并把所听到的词写在相应的短线上。大家基本完成之后,教师找两三个同学到黑板上只写答案。最后,教师再带着大家核对答案并一起学唱英语歌。

本题听力的答案是:ham, cake, tea, ice cream

单元教学活动5 Look, ask and answer in pairs.

第五部分是信息交流的练习。做该部分练习时教师要两个同学各自看一部分,然后相互询问信息。其中的一个学生可以这样说:“Let’s talk about Michael ’s holiday. You don’t know anything about Michael’s holiday, so you are going to ask me some questions.”学生问答开始,之后,另一个同学接着说:“Let ’s talk about Katy ’s holiday. You don’t know anything about Katy ’s holiday. So you are going to ask me some questions about it.”两人接着完成问答部分。

单元教学活动 6 Listen, read and act.

第六部分是阅读理解的练习。教师先让学生阅读该短文,并提出不懂的问题,教师进行适当的解答。教师在学生都基本理解的基础上可以把这个阅读的短文变成短剧。教师要事先分好角色,可以根据每组学生的多少来决定孩子的数量,但要保证有旁白者、王先生、李先生、男孩女孩各一名就可以了。如果教师能用实物先给大家口述一遍故事对学生的听力和理解一定会大有好处。

课后作业

回家后找一本自己喜欢的英语书,看看为什么喜欢,争取下次上课的时候能给同学讲一讲。
