JAKARTA, INDONESIA - Walking with long steps and his smile lighting up a rainy afternoon, Barack Obama seems to have arrived to visit a school he attended as a boy. But wait. He's not real Obama. The US president is back in Washington, D. C.
So who is this guy? He's llham Anas, 34, a magazine photographer who has taken advantage of his perfect resemblance(相像) to Obama and turned it into his own wealth. Loneliness is like a disease, and what's worse, it's contagious (会传染的). It can spread from one person to another, according to the recent research that stresses the power of one person's emotions to affect even people they don't know.
The new research which studied 4,793 people who were interviewed every two years between 1991 and 2001, showed that a friend of a lonely person was 52% more likely to develop feelings of loneliness by the time of the next interview. A friend of that person was 25% more likely , and a friend of a friend of a friend was 15% more likely . "Loneliness is
not just the property of one person. It can be sent across people-even people you don't have direct contact with, said John Cacioppo, who led the study published in the Journal o f Personality and Social Psychology.
Loneliness has been linked to medical problems, like depression, sleep problems and generally poorer physical health. Although the study did not examine how loneliness spread, Cacioppo said other research provided clues. "Let's say for whatever reason... you get lonely . Y ou then get along with other people in a more negative way . That puts them in a negative mood and makes them more likely to get along with other people in that way, and then they narrow their social ties and become lonelier," Cacioppo said.
According to Cacioppo, loneliness spreads more easily among women than men, perhaps because women are more likely to express emotions.
Lonely people become less and less trusting of others. This makes it more and more difficult for them to make friends-and more likely that society will reject them. Therefore, it is important to recognize and deal with loneliness. Cacioppo emphasizes that people who have been pushed to the edges of society should receive help to repair their social networks.
61. What's the main idea of this passage?

63. According to the passage, a lonely person probably is_____.
A. a boring person B. a troublesome person
C. a busy person D. an unhealthy person
64. What's the possible reason why loneliness spreads more easily among women?
A. Women share their feelings more.
B. Women are more in need of others' company.
C. Women are more likely to be emotionally weaker.
D. Women have greater difficulty expressing themselves.
65. Why is it important to recognize and deal with loneliness?
A. Because it's hard for people to believe in lonely people.
B. Because lonely people are more likely to make bad friends.
C. Because lonely people are more likely to be rejected by society.
D. Because lonely people are likely to refuse to make friends with others.

There are some very good things about open education. This way of teaching allows the students to grow as people, and to develop their own interests in many subjects. Open education allows students to be responsible for their own education, as they are responsible

People fell in love with Elizabeth Taylor in 1944, when she starred in National Velvet-the story of V elvet Brown, a young girl who wins first place in a famous horse race. At first, the producers of the movie told Taylor that she was too small to play the part of V elvet. However, they waited for her for a few months as she exercised and trained —and added three inches to her height in four months! Her acting in National V elvet is still considered the best by a child actress.
Elizabeth Taylor was born in London in 1932. Her parents, both Americans, had moved there for business reasons. When World War II started, the Taylors moved to Beverly Hills, California, and there Elizabeth started acting in movies. After her success as a child star, Taylor had no trouble moving into adult roles and won twice for Best Actress: Butterfield 8(1960) and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf ? (1966)
Taylor ’s fame(名声)and popularity gave her a lot of power with the movie industry, so she was able to demand very high pay for her movies. In 1963, she received $1 million for her part in Cleopatra—the highest pay received by any star up to that time.
Elizabeth Taylor is a legend (传奇人物) of our time. Like Velvet Brown in National Velvet, she has been lucky: she has beauty, fame and wealth. But she is also a hard worker. Or a roommate spends the whole weekend playing video games and wants to borrow your homework for "reference". But you've finished it after a whole day's hard work.
Many people say "yes" to these kinds of requests. They often don't consider their own courage and considerable practice. Or even a job. ” The result is that many people say "yes" just for keeping the peace. But experts say this is regrettable. Everyone should have the right to say "no".
In fact, rejecting a request can even help to stabilize (稳定) a relationship because it expresses real affection. But, for people accustomed to agreeing every request, ____________________.

Working Individually or working in a team
There are basically two ways to get work done. One is to work individually. In this way, people can decide for themselves when to start work and how to do it. What’s more, they will be able to learn how to solve problems on their own and how to think independently.
People may also choose to work in a team, where they can learn from each other and help each other. Besides, they may work out better ways to get work done by discussion. They can truly learn the skills of cooperation and how to get through the ideas to their mates.
Personally, I prefer to work in a team, which offers me a chance to learn how to get along with others and to share my experiences with them. As the work can be divided among several people, it can be done efficiently.

People fell in love with Elizabeth Taylor in 1944, when she starred in National Velvet-the story of V elvet Brown, a young girl who wins first place in a famous horse race. At first, the producers of the movie told Taylor that she was too small to play the part of V elvet. Her acting in National V elvet is still considered the best by a child actress.
